Every now and then, I feel the urge to use this blog like a blog and not like infotainment.
That’s what I usually do – infotainment. Informational entertainment with an artistic desire for improvement and the never-ending pursuit of perfection in expression.
But every now and then, I get the urge to just say, “Hey, here’s some stuff I did. Check it out.”
So that’s exactly what I’m going to do, because I *am* paying for this website. Hell, I should’ve done this a long time ago. So, without further ado…
Hey, here’s some stuff I did. Check it out.
This was my first exposure to podcasting. It was also my first exposure to skype, actually. Kyle talks about online business most of the time now, but built his name talking about women and travel. We go all over the place in this episode, including my brief experience in jail.
I was honored to be offered to appear on Jay Campbell’s podcast/YouTube channel. It’s a video podcast, not an audio-only. As you can expect, we talked about my experience with TRT over the past year. Jay is a huge figure to me, and I wouldn’t be where I am today if I hadn’t heard him talk TRT on Mike Cernovich’s podcast years ago.
The podcast I did with Arnie of The Sigma Mind was dramatically different from most I’ve done. Both of us are, as he puts it, chatterboxes. It’s basically two hours of tangents, was great fun. I went a little too deep into firearms for most listeners, but all in all it’s a great show.
Mark is a relatively new podcaster but his growth (I’ve seen the numbers) is incredible. We’ll put it this way – what a single Mark Baxter Podcast traffics in downloads approximates the entire Business and Bullets YouTube channel. Mark is a single Dad, and our talk was mostly on fatherhood and marriage.
How about my own Podcast?
I took the old one down, deleted all the old episodes. Why? Because the format I was using wasn’t right for me.
Everything was very structured, organized around a single topic, and I tried to limit them to 1% of your day or less in time. Simply put, my brain does not work this way. I’ll be launching the podcast again once I decide how I want to approach it.
Until next time
