I got a few emails from viewers and readers, so I answered them. When you ask me a question, as long as it isn’t asking for permission to procrastinate, I’ll answer it.
Emails Q1: Why is it that you don’t have more gun videos? For a GUN CHANNEL, you have very few videos about guns and very many about other things.
A: Because I don’t have a gun channel. I have a ME channel.
Videos made by ME about ME and for YOU. If you want more shooting videos, you’ll have them but you have to be patient.
Wait until next month, when I don’t have to worry about scaring deer on my hunting property.
Emails Q2: Why were you still fat after losing 115 lbs in six months? I think I have 40 lbs to lose and now I’m worried I’ll still be fat after I lose it.
A: Because WEIGHT and COMPOSITION are not the same thing.
You can be 180 lbs and fat, or you can be 180 lbs and lean. Weight and composition are not the same thing.
Me, personally, if I am 191 lbs like after I lost weight in 2013 then I am fat. I don’t have enough muscle mass to be super lean at 191 lbs. This doesn’t bother me, because I’m no bodybuilder.
I needed to lose WEIGHT. I didn’t care how much of it was muscle and fat because I was too heavy. If you are too heavy, you need to lose weight.
When you are at a healthy weight, you don’t need to lose anymore weight. That’s when you worry about composition. Yes, you’ll lose or gain weight changing your body composition, but it’s a different problem than just being too heavy.
Also, if you think you need to lose 40 lbs you probably need to lose more. I thought I needed to lose 75 lbs, but I really needed to lose 130 lbs. If you’ve been too heavy for too long, you don’t know how much weight you need to lose until you lose it.
Emails Q3: What do you think of the S&W Bodyguard? I am a first time gun buyer and am leaning towards buying it.
A: I like the S&W Bodyguard.
It’s a down-scaled version of the M&P series of pistols. The M&P series are quality guns.
I own one of the transitional pieces between the Sigma series and the M&P series, but I don’t own an M&P. I’ve handled many of them, both the standard version and the laser equipped version. They’re fine little guns.
If you’re going to stop at one gun, go ahead and get it. Don’t worry about people saying your gun is too small.
If you think you’re going to buy more guns after this, I recommend you get the M&P Shield. It is almost the same as the bodyguard, but it’s in major caliber. If you get a full size M&P later, you can share ammo between the two.
If you think you’re going to become a gun nut like me, you’re probably going to buy all the guns mentioned. Welcome to the club, you’re in good company.
Leave a comment and I’ll get back to you.
