People are going to think Dylan Madden’s Think and Go Hustle is a play on Think and Grow Rich. They’re not wrong, but I don’t think they’re right either.
Victor once said that people thought about Think and Grow Rich incorrectly. He said that they think it’s one step, and its not.
- Think and Grow Rich
- Grow Rich”
Of course, the people then asked, “What’s the middle step? Because surely there is something that comes between Thinking and Growing Rich.” They asked, Dylan answered.
Dylan Madden said…
- Go Hustle
- Grow Rich
What is Hustle?
If you’re from certain areas, the use of the word needs explaining. We aren’t talking about something illegal. This kind of hustle isn’t “hustlin’ fools”. This is “getting on your hustle” or “having hustle”.
Drive + Efficiency = Hustle
Having the gumption to get shit done on your own and doing it as efficiently as possible. It is economy of motion for your personal finances.
Making deals instead of spinning your wheels.
Sounds great, right? Well, maybe.
Maybe you don’t understand this yet, since you’ve been lied to your entire life, but not everyone has it in them to hustle. Universal Inclusion is a poison that has spread to every inch of every vein in every society.
Contrary to what you’ve been told, not everyone can do everything. For some people, hell, most people, it doesn’t matter how much they want it. They’re just not cut out for it.
That said, you might be one of the few who CAN.
And if you are, it gets better. The focus of Think and Go Hustle, the Hustler Mentality, is one hell of a competitive advantage. If you can get it.
So how do you know if you’re cut out to be a Hustler?
Usually, you find out the hard way and don’t have to ask this question. You go broke and find out.
It’s important that you understand “Broke” and “Poor” aren’t the same thing.
Poor people will always be poor because they believe every dollar they make needs to be spent on more shit they don’t need. Broke people simply don’t have enough money to live well.
When people go broke, they do one of two things. They either:
- Develop Hustler Mentality
- Develop Victim Mentality
Hustler Mentality is, as I said, Efficient Drive. The Hustler who finds himself in a hole pulls himself out of it.
Victim Mentality is the exact opposite. Incompetent Complacency. The “Victim” who finds himself in a hole…then starts making excuses as to why they shouldn’t try to rise above it.
“I can’t do it, because I’m a _____.”
“I can’t do it because I have _____.”
All that matters to them is that their excuse is a defining characteristic that they did not choose, did not earn, can not change, or will not change.
Their parents cease to be heritage and becomes a mere excuse. Their health ceases to be their state of being and becomes their state of stagnation. For some it’s as simple an excuse as not being an “evil straight white male”.
Anything and everything under the sun that will allow them to procrastinate climbing out of that hole.
The best way to ask yourself if the Hustler Mentality and Think and Go Hustle are for you is to ask yourself a simple question:
Are you lazy?
If you’re lazy, you might as well stop reading now. This is just mental masturbation for you. No book is going to do the work for you.
Think and Go Hustle is NOT your typical success book from your typical success guru. Those people’s goal is to momentarily impress you and get your money so they can sucker the next guy.
If you’re not lazy, well, this book is for you. It is by far the quickest and least expensive method of achieving the Hustler Mentality.
Most people have to go broke to develop a Hustler Mentality. Then they have to be broke for some time. Then they have to learn the things Dylan Madden condensed into less than 70 pages.
That’s right, friends. You can read all the information you need to develop Hustle in one sitting for (as of right now) $7.99 and two clicks.
That’s a hell of a lot less than I spent to develop it. Like Sonny said, I wish I had this book 4 years ago.
